Weather Night Dock is a comprehensive application designed specifically for dock stations. It offers users a range of useful information, including the current time, battery level, and upcoming alarm, all presented in an aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-read format.
In addition to its functionality as a night clock, this versatile app allows users to manually adjust screen brightness or set it to automatically adapt based on ambient light levels, thanks to its integrated light sensor. Compatible with Android 4.2+ smartphones, tablets, TVs, and boxes, it can also be used as a Daydream feature.
The app boasts an array of customizable settings, enhancing user experience and making it truly personalized. Notable features include the ability to automatically start or close the program when connecting or disconnecting the charger, even if the device is locked. Users can also choose their preferred time format (12 or 24-hour) and temperature display (Celsius or Fahrenheit). Additionally, setting alarms is quick and convenient, as a simple double-tap on the nearest alarm clock information initiates the process.
Personalization options abound in Weather Night Dock. Users can customize the theme background, select clock fonts, and tweak color elements to suit their tastes.
Optimized for internet usage, this app efficiently minimizes data consumption while remaining fully functional on GPRS and EDGE (2G) networks.
Since version 1.4, Weather Night Dock offers multilingual support for weather conditions in a wide range of languages, including English, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Ukrainian, German, Portuguese, Romanian, Polish, Finnish, Dutch, French, Bulgarian, Swedish, Chinese (Simplified), Turkish, Croatian, and Catalan.
Subsequent versions of the app have introduced additional features and enhancements. Version 1.5 introduced the ability to view information about missed calls and SMS messages directly on the main screen. Version 1.8 introduced animated weather icons, adding visual interest to the app. With version 1.9, users can benefit from the Daydream feature on Android 4.2+ devices. Version 1.10 allows users to set a custom background image from their gallery, bringing a personal touch to their dock station interface.
Version 1.11 expanded the app's capabilities by displaying information about missed Viber and WhatsApp messages on the main screen for Android 4.3+ devices (users will need to grant permission for access to notifications). In response to user feedback, version 1.12 introduced BIG CLOCK Tablet mode, optimizing the app's display for larger screens. Version 1.13 added GPS functionality for accurate location-based weather data. Furthermore, version 1.14 brought German, French, and Italian translations, making the app more accessible to non-English speakers.
Additional updates include version 1.15, which added seconds to the digital clock display, providing even more precise timekeeping, and version 1.16 introduced manual weather data updates, allowing users to ensure they have the most up-to-date information at their fingertips. Lastly, starting from version 1.17, users no longer need to obtain a personal key in order to enjoy all the features and functionality of Weather Night Dock.
